THIS YEARS' CHRISTMAS PICTURE

SCRUB IS THE WORLD'S BEST DOG AND WILL DO ANYTHING FOR A COOKIE!!!

BUTLER FAMILY CHRISTMAS

HERE ARE SOME PICTURES FROM MY FAMILY'S CHRISTMAS GET TOGETHER. THANKS TO TONY AND SHARON FOR HOSTING THE GROUP.

FUNNY FACES

I HAVE NEGLECTED MY BLOG SITE FOR A WHILE. WAITING FOR JUST THE RIGHT PICTURES TO ADD. I THINK I HAVE SOME GREAT ONES. DURING TWO RECENT VISITS WITH MY FAMILY WE ENJOYED PLAYING AROUND WITH SOME GOOFY MASKS. I AM PROTECTING THE NAME OF EACH PARTICIPANT (UNLESS I GET A GOOD BRIBE).

A BEAR OVER THERE

I HAVE BEEN SPENDING THE LAST FEW WEEKS OVERHAULING MY BACKYARD FLOWER BEDS. I HAVE DUG UP, TRANSPLANTED AND/OR CUT DOWN SO MANY PLANTS AND TREES. THE TRASH PEOPLE HATE ME AND MY MANICURIST JUST SHAKES HER HEAD. I FOUND THE CUTEST LITTLE BEAR (MADE IN MANSFIELD). LOOK AT THAT FACE!!!

BOYS OF SUMMER

EACH SUMMER I TRY TO HAVE SOME OF MY NEPHEWS UP FOR A FEW DAYS. I THOUGHT IT WOULD HELP ME STAY YOUNG, BUT I AM PRETTY TIRED WHEN THEY LEAVE. BETWEEN SWIMMING, SKIING, TUBING, BOWLING, PUTT-PUTT, TRAIN RIDES AND PICNICS...WHEW!!! WHEN THEY SLEEP THE WHOLE WAY HOME, I KNOW IT WAS A GOOD VISIT.

STEPHEN

STEPHEN CAME RIGHT BEFORE WE LEFT FOR SCOTLAND, SO WE HAD TO SQUEEZE A LOT IN A SHORT TIME. NEXT YEAR HE WILL TRY TO SLALOM. (MAYBE)

EVAN

EVAN WAS THE FIRST TO VISIT THIS SUMMER. I KNOW HE WAS EXHAUSTED WHEN HE LEFT. I WAS TOO.

JACOB AND MASON

NORMALLY, I LIKE TO HAVE ONE NEPHEW AT A TIME, BUT THIS SUMMER RAN OUT OF DAYS. THESE BROTHERS SEEMED TO HAVE PLENTY OF FUN. I WAS TWICE AS TIRED, THOUGH.

A BUSY MONTH

July '07 was a busy month for us. The first weekend we were in Hope, Arkansas for a Butler family reunion. It was great to visit with relatives we haven't seen in a while.

This is the train track that runs near my MamMa's house. Lots of memories here.

The second weekend we were in Virginia with Rachel and Corey. We visited Jamestown, Yorktown and Appomatox. Lots of U.S. history!!
