"HELLO COUNTRY BUMPKIN"

Jackie spent most of the last 8 months in Arlington and is somewhat used to "city" life.
Steady on the other hand has a lot to learn. Like...how does this thing work??

BUSTED BUBBLES

We found out that dogs love to eat horse manure!!
Too disgusting for words...so we decided to not let them in the pasture unless we were with them. Bubbles did not like this idea, so she learned how to leap over the fence from the top of her dog house. Even after we moved it away from the fence.

And she is just idiot enough to
come have a mug shot taken afterwards.

HAVE YOU "HERD"

We now own 2 horses and that qualifies as a herd.
Joining Jackie is her VBF...Steady.
( Thanks to Becky and Joel for bringing them down for us.)

And this is how we roll...
they do not like to be separated, so we play follow the leader.

We even ordered a really cool run-in shed for them.
But, they don't seem too impressed with it yet.
So I guess we can use it as our guest house!!

Ya'll come out to see us, ya hear!!

RYAN TIME

Happy Birthday to Erin (Feb 12). I loved spending time with them and kept Ryan while they went out. Do I go anywhere without my camera??!!

We have pictures exactly like these 2 when Travis was about the same age.

A TEARFUL GOODBYE

After 17 1/2 years in Mansfield and almost 30 in the DFW area, we moved south. Greg was transferred to the Houston area and we relocated to Montgomery. The weeks and months prior to the move were so busy, that it hardly seemed possible we were leaving. Once the moving van arrived, it really hit us hard. I cried that whole last day, especially as I painted over the markings on the wall of the kids' height measurements!! ( I am crying now even as I type this)

THE NEW DIGS

SNIFF!!! Time to move on. We were very fortunate to find a great, new home out in the country. It is in a gated subdivision that allows horses!! Those first few days were almost overwhelming, though. The boxes seemed to multiply overnight. But after 2 weeks, almost everything is in place and we are starting to work on outside projects. Greg even tilled a new garden spot. Thanks for the tiller, Bob. (NOT)
