CHRISTMAS 2008

We were blessed to have our entire family
together for Christmas this year.
With 2 new babies, it was a special time for all.
Eli and Ryan got to taste their first tea cake from
Mama Jeffers.

Merry Christmas
from our family and
Scrub and Bubbles

RUMBLE WITH RYAN

I bought matching Christmas jammies for the boys so we could get some cute pics. They were both precious. Watch as Eli discovers Ryan next to him.

ELI MEETS HIS GREAT GRANDPARENTS

Mama and Papa Jeffers were so excited to finally meet Eli. And of course we did a four generation picture.

WEEKEND GETAWAY

Greg and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary this summer, however, we were half way around the world from each other at the time. And since then we have been dealing with his transfer to Houston, selling our house and buying another one. Finding the time to get away has been difficult. We finally found a free weekend and spent it at a remote cabin on the Oklahoma/Arkansas border. We arrived at the same time as a nippy cold front and spent a lot of time in front of the fire!! We enjoyed driving thru the Kiamichee Mountains and Ouchita National Forest. The best part...no cell phone service or internet!!!

We were afraid we had missed the fall colors, but there were still plenty left.

RYAN'S PHOTO SHOOT

If Eli could talk, he would have warned Ryan about Mamaw and her camera...she shoots
everything!!

It's a jungle in here...

My parents are goofy

Not sure what to do with this thing. Maybe Daddy can help me.

A little monkey business!

OK being born in October sets you up for this.

THE JOB OF GRANDPARENTS

Getting to know Eli.

We took the task of spoiling very seriously. It was a blessing for me to be able to spend 4 weeks with Rachel, Corey and Eli. Greg was able to come for a few days as well and did we have a great time!!! As you can tell, we did not put him down very much.

Grandpa made a baseball wall hanging for Eli and got to introduce him to his first glove, ball and bat. Not sure if Eli understood the concept yet.

This was my last day at their house and you can tell our eyes are red from crying.
