THE JOB OF GRANDPARENTS

Getting to know Eli.

We took the task of spoiling very seriously. It was a blessing for me to be able to spend 4 weeks with Rachel, Corey and Eli. Greg was able to come for a few days as well and did we have a great time!!! As you can tell, we did not put him down very much.

Grandpa made a baseball wall hanging for Eli and got to introduce him to his first glove, ball and bat. Not sure if Eli understood the concept yet.

This was my last day at their house and you can tell our eyes are red from crying.

And you both did a great job as grandparents! Eli sure does miss you both. The songs that Corey and I come up with just aren't as good as Mamaw's songs and of course our singing isn't as good as Grandpa's singing. We had to remove the bumper from his crib because a few times we caught him all the way up against the side of the bed and against the bumper. I really think he was looking to see if is Grandparents were still sleeping on the floor in his room. We all can't wait for ya'll to come back!

The two of you look like wonderful grandparents!!! I know leaving to come home had to be very hard on all of you. Wonderful pictures of you and the baby. Love,Debbie
